Tenuk is a young male Malayan tapir that appears in The Lion Guard. He made his debut in Mama Binturong.

Appearance

Tenuk is a small Malayan tapir with white and dark blue skin. He has gray toenails. He also has a little trunk and brown eyes.

Personality

Tenuk is friendly and would do anything for his friends. Like most of the animals in the forest, however, he is terrified by the word “tuliza”. He fears that he could be beaten up by Mama Binturong when he says the word.

History

Mama Binturong

The Lion Guard are journeying through the forest to find another Moja Kwa Moja Stone for the Tree

of Life. Beshte makes a new friend in Tenuk. Tenuk then introduces his friends Bambun, the mongoose and Seisou the gibbon. When the Lion Guard asks about tuliza for Kion, Tenuk runs away in terror.
