Jeong Sewoon (정세운), or simply Sewoon, is a South Korean singer-songwriter under CAM WITH US. He made his solo debut on August 31, 2017 with the release of The 1st Mini Album Part.1 [Ever].
He is also a member of Starship and Brand New Music's project group YDPP.
Career
2017: Produce 101 Season 2, solo debut
He was introduced as a contestant on Produce 101 Season 2, representing Starship Entertainment. He finished in 12th place in the finale, as he was eliminated and barely made it to final lineup of Wanna One, which promoted for an exclusive year and a half contract.
Following Wanna One's debut, he made his solo debut on August 31, 2017 with the release of The 1st Mini Album Part.1 [Ever].
2018: Debut with YDPP
Sewoon debuted as a member of the project group YDPP with Kim Dong Hyun, Lim Young Min and Lee Kwang Hyun. After their one single release, they have not released any other music, so it is assumed they were only a project group for one single.
Sewoon has since continued activities as a solo artist under Starship Entertainment.
2024: Departure from Starship Entertainment, new agency
On September 7, 2024, Starship Entertainment announced Sewoon's departure from the agency after deciding not to renew his contract.[2]
On November 1, CAM WITH US welcomed Sewoon to their company.[3]
