Purpose (stylized as (Purpose) on the physical release) is a repackage of Taeyeon's second full-length album Purpose. It was released on January 15, 2020 with "Dear Me" serving as the album's title track.
The physical album comes in three versions: CD (in Purple and Beige) and Kihno kit.
The repackage was released on iTunes and Apple Music as a four-track EP including the three new songs and the instrumental of "Dear Me".

On February 14, 2020, an exclusive water book bottle was gifted for any Pomegranate Ade purchase at SMTOWN's café &CAFE.[1]
In February 2020, following the release of the repackage album, exclusive (Purpose) merchandise was made available for sale, at SMTOWN &STORE shops and online store, and on specialized retailers' websites.[2]
