APRIL (에이프릴) was a girl group under DSP Media. Originally as six, they debuted on August 24, 2015 with the mini album Dreaming.
On January 28, 2022, DSP Media announced the group had officially disbanded after six years and the members have decided to part ways, following a long period of careful discussion and deliberation.[1]
History
2015: Dreaming, departure of Somin
APRIL originally started as a six-member group and made their debut with their mini album Dreaming on August 24, 2015.
On November 9, 2015, DSP Media announced the departure of Somin, leader of the group.[2]
2016: Line-up change
On October 29, Hyunjoo shared a handwritten letter on fan cafe in which she revealed her departure from the group.[3]
On November 11, DSP announced Chaekyung as new member. On November 24, DSP announced that APRIL will be making a comeback with two new members, Chaekyung, previously revealed, and Rachel as a six-member group.[4]
