Cupid is a Copy Ability in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.

Games

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad

Cupid focuses on using a bow and arrow to defeat enemies, as well as angel wings to fly more efficiently. Cupid allows Kirby to aims his shots at an upward or downward angle, and they can be charged to go farther, or even fire more arrows. Cupid's wings allows Kirby to fly faster and more precisely than normal. Kirby can even attack while flying, but he slowly descents unless flying upward. Cupid's arrows can cut ropes and grass. Cupid is obtained from the Cupie enemy.

In Kirby: Squeak Squad, the distance Cupid's arrows fly was significantly reduced. Flying is no longer affected by gravity, but no longer faster than Kirby's normal flight.

Upon obtaining the Cupid Ability Scroll, located in the Big Treasure Chest in Stage 5 of Ice Island, Cupid can now fire three arrows in a straight ahead.

Shoot three straight arrows	+	Kirby shoots three arrows straight forward. This sets Kirby's speed to zero, allowing repeated use to slow Kirby's descent from a jump.

Cupid Kirby appears as a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, using his design from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. When applied, it makes the equipped fighter wield the Star Rod whenever entering a door or starting a level in the Subspace Emissary.

Artwork resembling the Cupid ability appears on the cover of Volume 21 of Kirby of the Stars: The Story of Dedede Who Lives In Pupupu.
The hat Kirby gains from copying Pit and his attack with it in Super Smash Bros. Brawl resembles Cupid Kirby, complete with wings.
While this ability is represented as a keychain in Kirby: Triple Deluxe, its translation comes from its Japanese name: Angel Kirby (although Cupie was not similarly renamed "Annie").
Cupid is one of two Copy Abilities in the Kirby series that grants Kirby a bow and arrows; the other is Archer.
Cupid, Mini, Smash Bros., Archer, Hypernova, ESP, Staff, and Mecha are the only Copy Abilities whose names are different in Japan; in Japan, Cupid is Angel, Mini is Minimum, Smash Bros. is Sma Bro, Archer is Sniper, Hypernova is Big Bang, ESP is Esper, Staff is Stick, and Mecha is Armor.
Cupid's name is one of two instances in the Kirby series where a Japanese name was changed in other countries to downplay religious connotations, the other being the Shadow Star Air Ride Machine from Kirby Air Ride, which was called Devil Star in the Japanese version.
On page twenty-eight of the Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition celebration booklet, one of the answers for the Cavalcade of Kirby's Quiz (located at the back of the celebration book) states that Cupid Kirby first appeared in Kirby's Return to Dream Land; this is incorrect, as Cupid Kirby is from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.
