The Mahva (マーヴァ Māva) is a Forces of Nature enemy that debuted in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Physical appearance
The Mahva is a white creature with six yellow eyes, a staple of Forces Of Nature foes. It vaguely resembles a jellyfish. It possesses cloth-like blue and purple tendrils which hang down from its underside, while its head and back are white.
Appearances
Kid Icarus: Uprising
The Forces Of Nature’s answer to The Underworld Army’s Shildeen, the Mahva will fly around and summon a green shield to protect itself and its allies alike. The shield can push Pit away and changes color when damaged. Once the shield breaks, the Mahva will be left vulnerable for several seconds until it erects its shield again, as it is apparently unable to fly when outside of its shield, and will slowly fall lower and lower until it summons its shield again. Additionally, it possesses a basic projectile attack, though this is exclusive to Land Battles.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

Mahvas are enemies encountered in the Smash Run mode of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. They behave similarly as in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Mahvas move by flying around. They have the ability protect themselves and their allies with a force field, which can push the player's fighter, and the force field can be broken only from being attacked. If a Mahva loses its force field, it generates another one shortly afterward. Defeating a Mahva grants power-ups to the player's fighter.
Idol Description
Mahva
Mahva defends itself with a sphere of water that only allows friendly fire to pass through. This makes it an ideal front-line soldier for the Forces of Nature. But don't give up: persistent attacks will eventually break through Mahva's shield.
Trophy Description

Mahva
A strange, fishlike thing that shrouds itself in a large, spherical barrier. When it sees one of its allies, it extends the barrier to protect them as well. As you attack the barrier, it'll slowly change color until it finally breaks. That's when the Mahva will try to escape. Finish it off before it does to nab yourself some defense stat boosts!
