Battle 539

Battle 539 is titled "The Meaning of the Decoy"

Summary

Shigure begins to do battle with the Hachiō Executioner Blade, powering up her ki and getting commended by Mihai Știrbey.  Shigure begins her attack with Shinto Gōrenzan and proceeds to attack all the members of the Hachiō Executioner Blade at the same time.  Seitarō Raigō insults Shigure's decision of taking them on all at once while Kenichi and Miu seek to escape, understanding that Shigure is distracting the opponents away from them.

However Mihai Știrbey appears behind them unscathed due to protective clothing made by Shigure's Father.  Știrbey warns Shigure not to move and says that today is an important day for them and a black flag appears on the ship, signaling the Eternal Setting Sun.  Mildred Lawrence allows a press helicopter to follow the ship so that people can see the "beginning of our world".

The other members of Ryōzanpaku, being caught in the decoy, have no choice but to guard the Prime Minister's meeting with the One Shadow Nine Fists.  The Prime Minister seeks to compromise with Yami and asks if they could stop the destruction at the port.  Apachai notices Shigure on the press footage of the tanker, which is filled with Yami's military funds (2,000 tons of gold).

Once again the Prime Minister asks if they cannot solve the matter peaceably but Saiga Fūrinji says that he must be mistaken: they have come there to announce the beginning of the Eternal Sunset.  As Yami leaves, transmissions are heard saying that warships from the American fleet have left as well as several from Japan's Self-Defense Forces.
