IT'z Different is the debut single album by South Korean girl group ITZY. It was released on February 12, 2019, with "DALLA DALLA" serving as the title track.
The music video was released on Feb. 10, 2019.
Background
On January 14, 2019 a media outlet reportedly said that JYP's upcoming girl group, has already finished filming their debut music video. JYP responded by confirming the reports and saying they were already finished filming the video. They were the first girl group since TWICE, and the group consisted of members who had already appeared to the public.[1]
On January 21, 2019 at midnight KST, JYP released a prologue film for his upcoming girl group ITZY. It introduced all 5 members, and had a vibrant theme. January 23, through February 1, teasers and promotional photos for the group was released along with M/V teasers as well.[2]
Their music video for "DALLA DALLA" was officially released as of Feb. 12, KST. BY midnight February 12 KST, ITZY had broke a record and their "DALLA DALLA" became the most viewed K-Pop group debut M/V with most views in 24 hours. They had already gotten a total of 13,933,725 views in a day.
The same day as release, on February 12, ITZY held a live showcase for their new debut single IT'z Different. THe group answered questions, performed "DALLA DALLA", and performed cover dances such as TWICE's "Like OOH-AHH", and Miss A's "Bad Girl, Good Girl".[3]
On February 12, 2019 the full single album IT'z Different along with the title track "DALLA DALLA" was released.[4]
On April 8, officially 3 months later the group hit 100 million views becoming fastest K-pop debut M/V to hit 100 million. Breaking the previous record set by BLACKPINK with "Boombayah".[5]

Critical reception
It'z Different received many critics, usually favorable. IZM's Jeong Yeon-kyung stated that: ""DALLA DALLA" borrows a dance beat in a ratchet style, exuding a YG atmosphere, and the personality of Red Velvet and F(x), represented by electronic sounds, comes out. The only choice for JYP style is the old-fashioned 'I'm different' narrative and the 'Gapbunpong (suddenly mood)' chorus, like Miss A's' "I Don't Need a Man", which eventually leads to the same woman with an arrow of blame."
Billboard's Tamar Herman said that: "The electropop song is an empowering anthem, introducing ITZY as a group that’s an alternative to its peers: the title “Dalla Dalla” is the word for “different” in Korean, repeated. "I'm different from the kids, I'm different,” members sing in the chorus ahead of the chanting titular refrain. “Don't measure me by your standards alone, I love being myself, I'm nobody else."
