Taim is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn.
History
Taim is a Nora Brave living in Mother's Crown in the Nora Sacred Lands.
Taim was hunting boar east of Mother's Crown when he encountered a Sawtooth. He evaded the machine but lost his lucky ring, a prized possession made from a machine's jaw that originally belonged to his maternal grandmother.[1]
Horizon Zero Dawn
When Aloy visited Mother's Crown, Taim asked her to help the tribe by collecting boar skin for the local Stitcher. He also asked her to look for his lost ring while she is out hunting.[2]
Aloy finds the ring in the throat of a dead boar - having been killed by said ring. She retrieves it and brings the ring and the boar skin to Taim at a campfire just outside Mother's Crown. Taim gladly accepts the items, deciding to wear the ring around his neck to prevent it from being lost again.[2]
