Thoreau is a supporting character in Paper Mario.
History
Thoreau first appears in chapter 1-2 of the Desert of Yold, in a secret room in the city of Yold. Thoreau claims he was created and encased in the treasure chest by the ancients more than 1500 years ago. Seeing Tippi he can't remember her and when he first saw her.
He helps Mario cross the desert. Thoreau is vital in defeating Buzzy Beetles, Bald Clefts and Fracktail.
Appaerance
Thoreau is a Pixl. His appearance resembles a hand, which he is used to grab objects.
