Padma Patil is a supporting character in the Harry Potter franchise. She is a young witch of Indian descent and the identical twin sister of Parvati Patil. Unlike her sister who was sorted into the Gryffindor house of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Padma was sorted into the Ravenclaw house.
She wars portrayed by Sharon Sandhu in The Prisoner of Azkaban and by Afshan Azad in The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince, and both adaptations of The Deathly Hallows.

As the identical twin sister of Parvati, Padma shared her sister's long black hair, but usually kept her hair done. Like her sister, Padma usually wore a silver necklaces with the letter "P" hanging from the chains around their necks and over their ties during their Hogwarts years. The only difference in Padma's sense of fashion compared to her sister would be her school uniform in Ravenclaw's colors due to that being her house while Parvati was sorted into Gryffindor.
