The Salt Chipper is a Tier 3, two-handed hammer. It deals Busting and Salty damage. This means it benefits from Smasher.
If upgraded past level 6 using the Smithing Station, it will gain an additional effect called Finale Bleed. This effect will inflict any foes hit by the 3rd hit of the weapons combo with a Bleed effect that deals 5 damage a second. This bleed is not actually bleed damage, and is instead counted as "true" damage, meaning it bypasses all resistances.
