The Decoy Bait is a tool that allows the player to distract predators found both on land and in the water.
It can be used to lure aggressive creatures away, allowing the player to sneak past them, or to escape aggressive creatures when being chased, especially like the Koi Fish.
Creatures will avoid the bait if they are in combat with the player.
