Ukraine is a country in Europe. Its capital is Kyiv and the country is bordered by Russia, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova. It was one of the founding members of the Soviet Union in 1922, and seceded from the Soviet Union in 1991 prior to its dissolution via the signing of the Belavezha Accords, to which Ukraine was a signatory. The primary language is Ukrainian, with Russian also being spoken.
2022 Invasion
In February 2022, Russia launched a military invasion of Ukraine. As a result, many industries and businesses within Ukraine are no longer functioning or moved abroad, including video game developers and hardware manufacturers.
