Characteristics
A gut shroom is a red fungus that resembles a small pile of intestines. It may easily be mistaken for meat piles and the remains of enemies. It can be consumed raw to satisfy a small amount of hunger with a medium dose of radiation and chance for disease or can be cooked for additional benefits.
Locations
- Ten can be found in the Burrows in the caves before the pump control room.
- A 2.7% chance to be sold by the food-selling scavenger trader random encounter.

Gut shrooms appear in Fallout 76. They also appear in Fallout: Wasteland Warfare as a terrain piece.
