Overview
A Well Pipe is used to pump Iridium from the Iridium ocean below the Starter Island and Mainland through the use of Well Pumps(only).
Well Pumps are the only building that can be attached to a well pipe. Well pipes run from the Iridium Ocean to ground level.
A single well pipe will generate on each team's island. Several Well Pipes will generate on the mainland. Since the Mainland has a lot of well pipes, it makes it much better for powering a base than the Spawn Island, which only has one Well Pipe. The mainland has an abundance of well pipes, and they usually generate in clusters. These clusters can appear in groups of 1–8.
Trivia
- Well Pipes can be cut near the middle and iridium will still be generated by the Well Pump.
- The top well pipe cannot be destroyed.
- Well pumps can only be built on the top well pipe. This means a player cannot cut a well pipe at sea level and place a well pump there.
- Well pipe blocks can support Gold Well Pipes.
- The tops of Well Pipes may be blocked by iridium crystals or spires.
- There is no well pipe at the bottom of the ocean
