— Ginger
Ginger(ジンジャー Jinjā) is a supporting character in Doraemon: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum. She is the granddaughter of Professor Peppler who often steals various foodstuffs and dining-related items from the museum, with the help of the Wormhole Pen gadget. She is referred to as Kurt's sister, despite not literally related by blood.
Story
Ginger is a girl who is quite naughty, similar to her grandfather, Professor Peppler. She is rather strict when the dining table is a mess, and always demands that it should be tidy up before a meal. Because she and her grandfather cannot risk exposing themselves to the outside world, Ginger often scrimmages for foodstuffs in the museum, like Director Fiks's red tea and sugar, plus Gonsuke's sweet potatoes.
Ginger is known to be like Kurt's little sister. In the film, Kurt has tea and said he wants to have dinner with her, she said that mostly because her food is good. Nobita, Doraemon and Shizuka met her once but don't know who she is and the film doesn't show any contact between them and Kurt doesn't introduce her.
She also functions as a straight man to her grandfather who sometimes lapsed into a mad scientist-like persona. While Dr.Peppler claimed that he purely hates Dr. Hartman, Ginger corrected his claim that it's quite the opposite as Dr. Hartman is the only one who understands his intention and whole heartily supported him.
Appearance
Ginger is a girl with fair skin and short golden blonde hair tied in a ponytail with a dark turquoise bow. She has brick red eyes and is slightly shorter than Kurt. She wears a white dress with a puffy neck hole under an orange top with transparent green cap-sleeves and a large red button that has a orange heart and a cyan dot illustrated on it,the dress also has a box pleated skirt with green inner segments along with bangles that are the same colour as her bow with a yellow and orange apron and white and orange shoes.
Personality
She is the type of person that preserves tidiness of a place. She absolutely hated untidy places and dirty places. She would get mad at Professor Peppler because he made such mess in the dining table.
But she also has a sweet an naughty side. She would be proud after got her food complimented by either Peppler or Kurt.
Relationships
Kurt
She met Kurt when she was about to 'look' for some things to steal. She bumped into him as she walked outside. As time went on, Kurt became Ginger's best friend. So close in fact, that she was sometimes considered as Kurt's little sister by the gang.
Even though they're closest of friends. It's still unknown whether she has a crush on him or no, or she just have a feeling towards him. Kurt might be the one who possibly has some sort of feeling towards her, from the statement he said that he wanted to have dinner with her (some sort of date probably).
Professor Peppler
Ginger has a bit of an awkward relation with Professor Peppler. She sometimes hated him for being too villainous. He strongly dislikes his habit of messing up the table as shown in the movie. She would get mad if the table didn't got tidied up when the time of lunch is coming. She also showed less sympathy towards Professor Peppler's invention. Because the thing she focused on is how messy the room was.
Trivia
- She uses Ginger as her ingredients on her cooks. In the movie, she made Ginger Tea, and Cake (with ginger additives to it).
- She somehow has an appearance similar to Roll, a character from the Mega Man series.
