Banhou (バンホー Banhou) is the key character of the 8th Daichōhen Doraemon volume and the 8th Doraemon film, Nobita and the Knights of Dinosaurs which was released in 1987. The Dinosaur Knight with many skills in combats, he is the hero of his nation.
Depiction
Banhou is a watcher in the Animal Preservation Office of the Dinosaur World, and also a soldier in the nation's army. He saved Suneo from drowning in the lake, and later accompanied Nobita and his friends to the nation. He had not told them about their plan of invading the human species but forbidden them from approaching the construction site of their gigantic time machine. When Doraemon saves the dinosaur species from extinction, Banhou admits them as representatives of God and safely leaves the group on the Mountain.
He later sends parcels of the items Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo and Gian left inside their cave hideout.
