"The Sash" is the second segment of the tenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series StuGo.
Synopsis
Presidential Pandemonium! The kids vie for a presidential sash.
Plot
Merian, adorned in a presidential sash, orders the other kids to help clean up the beach. While doing so dutifully, Pliny comes to the realization that they are taking Merian's orders unquestionably. She realizes that the sash is the reason why and becomes perturbed by the fact that she has one to begin with. Merian explains that she was given the sash by her party back at her school and that she is very proud to use it. Seeing as how she is with this group and not her school's, that should mean that they follow a different type of hierarchy and that they should vote for who gets to wear it. Merian is reluctant, but agrees due to the political undertones
The kids sit down and take a vote over who should wear it, with Francis and Larry immediately getting disqualified. In need of a tie breaker, they go to Dr. Lullah who instead insists that she should be empress of the island, causing the kids to leave in disgust. At Pliny's suggestion, they decide to go to the mutants for their vote, but decide that they must hold a debate to entice them into choosing who gets the sash. While the debate starts off fine, they are distracted by a large friendly mutant named Big Mitchell who gets everyone to party, with even the other kids getting behind him, infuriating Merian.
The sash gets tossed onto Big Mitchell, shocking both Merian and Pliny who try to get it back. A giant worm mutant comes out of the ground as pandemonium ensues. Soon, the worm and Mitchell have a tug of war with the sash. Just as the worm attempts to drag it away, Pliny and Merian go for it, with the latter ordering the kids to help. The worm drags them underground, but Merian finally tells Pliny to let it go, forcing the kids back up to the surface. The kids make Merian a new sash, made from garbage they were collecting earlier and try to get her to wear it. They are distracted by Mitchell who gets them to dance, as Dr. Lullah asks Mr. Okay to keep an eye on him.

Trivia
- This episode reveals that the kids all came from different schools and were presidents of their own clubs. Francis in particular is implied to be the only member of her club.
- Sunil Hall is credited as Sunil the Sailor despite not appearing in this or "Francis Wants to Be Alone".
