Moon Moon

"Moon Moon" is the first segment of the sixth episode of the Disney Channel animated series StuGo.

Synopsis

Resentful Robots! Lullah sends Sara to stop a rover from drawing a dirty rear on the moon.

Plot

The kids are loudly awoken by Dr. Lullah and Mr. Okay who drag them into a g-force machine and test them. By the end, Pliny, Merian, Larry, and Francis are ejected, while Chip and Sara "pass". Dr. Lullah reveals to the two of them that they are being tested for a space mission to the moon. Following her "success" of drawing her face into it, NASA managed to remove it. She has programmed a robot to draw another face, but instead it is going to draw a butt and literally "moon" everyone. Chip wants to trap and reset it, while Sara insists on outright destroying the robot, causing Dr. Lullah to choose her for the mission.

Sara is launched straight towards the moon where she disguises herself as a robot with a simple cardboard box and encounters robot Rover van Guard, or simply Van. Van, who has a goth teen personality, reveals that he has the soul of an artist and tends to Sara, thinking she is a massage robot. Sara tries and fails to push his reset button, but instead starts to become enamored with his goals. Van does not like Dr. Lullah's conceited views and instead wants to draw a butt as a sign of protest against her. Sara begins to shut off her communications with Dr. Lullah, forcing her to send Chip up to the moon and complete the mission.

When Chip arrives, Sara reveals her true self to Van and tries to distract Chip while he escapes. Chip traps Sara in a crater, but she escapes by cutting her suit to fly upwards. Chip corners Van, but Sara arrives, complying with the mission. She punches through Van's template and rips out his programming chip, which Chip and Dr. Lullah find coldhearted. Back on earth, Sara plugs Van's chip into Dr. Lullah's new espresso machine as it was the only way to save him. Van realizes that he can design a butt into Dr. Lullah's espresso from now on before revealing that he completed turning his butt on the moon into a heart.
