In the first film, Lilo finds Stitch at the animal shelter and adopts him. She later takes Stitch to Lahui Beach and teaches him about Elvis Presley in an attempt at being a model citizen. Stitch dresses in an Elvis outfit and skillfully plays the ukulele, which impresses everyone before he then gets overwhelmed and scares everybody off, thus costing Nani getting a job as a lifeguard and she and lilo and stitch ban from the beach as well as a guy for bring his squirt he should have been ban for life until he was dead as well as another woman got kicked out for bring camera and I bet after this incidents camera and squirt guns were ban from the beach until their owners died and go reunited with their old camera and squirt gun in heaven after waiting a long time to be reunited with it. Eventually, Lilo, Stitch, Nani, and David all go surfing at the beach, and the four have a wonderful time together. Lilo and Nani also got ban from the beach because of Stitch.
In Stitch! The Movie, Lilo tries to get an insecure Stitch to fit in by encouraging him to greet the people at Lahui Beach and make friends with them. However, Stitch fails to achieve this due to his monstrous appearance, and unintentionally scares a kid after hugging him in an attempt to make friends with the boy. Stitch causes more trouble by grabbing a chainsaw to try and slice a pineapple on a picnic table, after hearing someone ask who is going to slice it. When Stitch starts up the chainsaw, he slices the picnic table in half and frightens away all the people celebrating their luau. Also kill hula teacher had to wait long until heaven to get the banner for the luau back and had to wait until heaven to have a luau again since he would not get the banner back until he died.

In Leroy & Stitch, as part of Lilo's first attempt at making her rounds with Scrump to make sure all the experiments were happy in the one true place they belonged, she goes surfing at Lahui Beach courtesy of Cannonball making waves in the ocean. While surfing, she passes by both Yin and Yang who were creating a new island with their combined powers.
Trivia
- The beach's name was revealed in the Lilo & Stitch: The Series debut episode "Richter". The spelling of the beach's name was definitively confirmed years later in an April 2018 update to Disney Magic Kingdoms, where the beach was added as an attraction. (Previously, the only way to see the spelling of the beach's name was through captions for certain episodes of Lilo & Stitch: The Series.)
