Ravager is a legacy name of super-villains and anti-heroes, usually associated with Slade Wilson alias Deathstroke the Terminator.
The first Ravager was named second hand by Queen Hippolyta in reference to Professor Mark Ronsom, a man who was turned into a monster with his Chronal Transponder device, which was meant to save him from dying by putting his body in stasis after a gunshot. The events that lead to the creation of this Ravager were erased from Earth One's time stream by Green Arrow, remembered only by him and Black Canary.
The next, unrelated Ravager was the alter-ego of Slade Wilson's son Grant Wilson. The Ravager working as a mercenary for H.I.V.E. assigned to kill the Teen Titans until his death. William Walsh, a terrorist responsible for slitting Jericho's throat as a child, later used the identity to attack Deathstroke by taking advantage of his vulnerability. Slade's half-brother Wade LaFarge also used the identity to target him, although he was later killed for this. Rose Wilson, anti-hero and daughter of Slade, later begins using the name when discovered by Slade while previously under his tutelage and mentorship, before joining the Teen Titans led by the third Robin, Timothy Drake.
The first Ravager, created by Gerry Conway and George Tuska, appeared in World's Finest #250. The Ravager Alias borne by Deathstroke's first son was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, first appearing in New Teen Titans #1 (1980).
