Atomic Knight

The Atomic Knight is Gardner Grayle, a futuristic soldier and the leader of the Atomic Knights. They wear nuclear-powered medieval suits of armor, and battle Black Baron in a post-apocalyptic future. Grayle was later retconned to exist in the present era, where he joined the Seven Soldiers of Victory as Shining Knight and later became one of the Outsiders. The original Knights are reintroduced in Battle for Bludhaven where they're seen working with S.H.A.D.E. out of Command D.

The Atomic Knights were created by John Broome and Murphy Anderson, first appearing in Strange Adventures #117 (1960).
