Synopsis

The story centers around Lyrical Lily, who attend Arisugawa Academy, a traditional school with a philosophy of service. They work to perform as part of their service to make everyone smile. One day, Haruna gets called to City Hall to help with a community revitalization event that will continue for a year. Lyrical Lily worries if they can do it on their own, but what comes to mind is the success of their first ever live show and the smiling faces of the audience. Lyrical Lily's thoughts and feelings connect with the units they celebrated with at the DJ festival, "D4 FES", and in the new year, the curtain rises on a new stage![2]

01 "Beginning Beginning" (ハジマリ ハジマリ Hajimari Hajimari?) January 8, 2023 (DMM.TV, Crunchyroll)[1]
January 13, 2023 (Official Premiere)
After finishing up classes and morning Mass, Shiratori Kurumi makes her way to the Lyrical Lily meeting room and notices that someone is missing. Sakurada Miyu and Takeshita Miiko inform her that Kasuga Haruna is at City Hall meeting with the Chamber of Commerce. When Haruna returns, she announces that Lyrical Lily will be part of a year-long town revitalization event. Exhausted at the idea of having to put on monthly performances for a year, they decide to enlist the help of the other units from D4 FES: Happy Around!, Photon Maiden, Peaky P-key, RONDO, and Merm4id. At the first official meeting, Aimoto Rinku arrives with the rest of Happy Around! and true to form, gives everyone a seashell. The first concert goes off without a hitch, with Peaky P-key delivering a crowd-pleasing performance.
02 "Camera, Live, Action!" (カメラ ライブ アクション! Kamera, Raibu, Akushion!?) January 15, 2023 (DMM.TV, Crunchyroll)[1]
January 20, 2023 (Official Premiere)
Although Peaky P-key's performance has generated some buzz surrounding the local revitalization campaign, the girls are shocked to discover that it's not trending as well as they had hoped. At the advice of Kaibara Michiru, they decide to create a video showcasing interesting sights around town to advertise the event. Lyrical Lily and Happy Around! give a tour of the shopping district while Photon Maiden showcases one of the power spots in the area. Peaky P-key gives a tour of the Sasago family gym before joining Merm4id in experiencing the baths and sauna. At nightfall, Hiiro offers Kurumi a sneak peek at a RONDO rehearsal inside ALTER-EGO. Once Muni edits the footage, it is posted all over town and the official campaign name is revealed: "Operation Beckoning Cat: 6 COLORS PARTY!!"
03 "Freedom Freedom?" (ジユウ ジユウ? Jiyuu Jiyuu??) January 22, 2023 (DMM.TV, Crunchyroll)[1]
January 27, 2023 (Official Premiere)
At the next "Operation Beckoning Cat" meeting, Muni expresses her concerns about the next performance not living up to hype, so Lyrical Lily decides to step up and be the next unit to perform. They decide to center each monthly performance around a theme befitting each month, giving Lyrical Lily the task of creating a new song with a theme for March. After consulting with Photon Maiden, Merm4id, and Happy Around!, the girls choose the Japanese Doll Festival as the theme; however, Haruna continues to struggle with writing the new song. After visiting Peaky P-key at the Sasago family gym, they decide to hold a Doll Festival of their own with the other units. This gives Haruna the inspiration she needed, leading to yet another successful show. Watching Lyrical Lily's performance, Aoi realizes RONDO needs to step up as well.
04 "Spring Storm" (ハルノアラシ Haru no Arashi?) January 29, 2023 (DMM.TV, Crunchyroll)[1]
February 3, 2023 (Official Premiere)
Less than two weeks before the April "Operation Beckoning Cat" concert, a stray cat sneaks into the local community center and damages the equipment. Hesitant to cancel the event, the girls decide to look for a new venue. Miyake Aoi offers to host the concert at ALTER-EGO; however, it is a members-only nightclub and has been for decades. Aoi and the rest of RONDO pitch the idea of opening ALTER-EGO's doors to Masaki and she is willing to consider it, but insists on speaking to the nightclub's owner first. Wanting to help but unsure of how, Aoyagi Tsubaki pays a visit to Amano Airi (completely unaware of Tsukimiyama Nagisa and Yano Hiiro spying on her from a distance). After some words of encouragement from Airi and Yamate Kyoko, Tsubaki is able to come up with a plan to help save "Operation Beckoning Cat". They decide to hold a survey during Kaibara Michiru's livestream to ask fans if ALTER-EGO should change their policies and report the results to Masaki, who announces that the owner has agreed to open ALTER-EGO's doors (on the condition that the concert is held during the day and that alcohol is prohibited). With "Operation Beckoning Cat" back on track, RONDO is able to pull off a successful show.
05 "Negative/Positive" (ネガ/ポジ Nega/Poji?) February 5, 2023 (DMM.TV, Crunchyroll)[1]
February 10, 2023 (Official Premiere)
Inspired by the stormy spring performance RONDO gave, Seto Rika decides to take a trip to the United States. When she returns, she tells her fellow Merm4id members about her fun night out with an American music producer and that Merm4id will be collaborating with them for their next song. When they discover that the producer Rika met up with was famous American artist Laura Bradley, Hidaka Saori becomes starstruck. Not wanting to disappoint Laura, Saori gets to work on learning as much English as possible; however, not only is she having difficulties overcoming the language barrier when talking to Laura, but the pressure of meeting Laura's expectations causes her a lot of stress. Though Saori pushes her friends away at first, she eventually accepts their help and realizes that the stress of creating a new song made her forget why she loved music in the first place. To solve this, Rika, Mizushima Marika and Matsuyama Dalia take her to a club, where the music playing on the dancefloor reignites Saori's love of music and allows her to create a new song they can debut at their "Operation Beckoning Cat" concert.
