Pamela is Claymore No. 35 of Clare's generation.

Etymology

"Pamela" is a transliteration of the Japanese "Pamera" (パメラ, pronounced "pa-Mer-a").

"Pamela" was invented by the 16th century poet Sir Philip Sidney, possibly from the Greek for "all honey" (pan meli).

Appearance

Pamela has rather short hair that seems to be spiked at the ends almost like Nike's and similar to Priscilla's, and has bangs that swep to the right side of her face.

Plot

She was part of Veronica's team during the Northern Campaign. She was not used to battling Awakened Beings. In the manga, she is clearly shown trembling in the front of a male Awakened Being who attacked in Pieta.

In the anime, after the same battle she was found crying on a set of stairs by Helen, who comforted her by talking to her and offering her an apple.

She was killed in front of Helen when the team was taken by surprise. Pamela was the first casualty of the Northern Campaign.

Behind the Scenes

• While Helen's team waited inside a building just as the second attack was beginning an Awakened Being broke through the floor grabbing Pamela, then crushing her to death.
