Nourishment is the A1 spell of Corvus' magical spells. It can be accessed via the Spellbook. It is represented by a stickman with arrows pointing towards the middle of its torso, plus visible circles for hands.
It causes all Mana to drain at the benefit of transferring into XP at an exchange of a 1:2 ratio, 1:4 ratio at Level 15-19, and at Level 20 transferring into cash instead of Corvus's XP. Cooldown of 60 seconds, and cannot have its cooldown reduced via Recovery.
The money-generating aspect of Level 20 Nourishment is removed on CHIMPS and Deflation. This spell can cannot be activated, even if for detriment of the spirit.
It costs as much Mana as Corvus currently has. He unlocks it at Level 1.
Strategy
Summary
Nourishment is the key to strengthening the XP of Corvus over a sustained amount of time, making this ideal for long-duration games such as CHIMPS but not so much for Race Events. By gaining XP from his excess Mana, he will get stronger over time, and maximizing this spell as efficiently as possible while still surviving will be vital for optimizing Corvus. Nourishment is the only spell that directly interacts with Corvus in a way that is aggressive yet opportunistic at the same time.
Tips
- Nourishment is like Adora's Blood Sacrifice ability; both compensate for slow leveling rates of these heroes by spending in-battle currency to permanently boost XP. The main difference is that Nourishment only depends on Corvus's Mana, not the monetary costs of towers.
- Treat the Nourishment spell as the bread and butter of Corvus, one that feeds him and gives him that livelihood to become stronger.
- Keep using Soul Harvest if possible when the Mana count is below about 600, and then try to use Nourishment as soon as the cooldown is ready while also trying to maximize the Mana spent from the act of Nourishment spell.
- Because Nourishment depletes all current Mana for a big boost in XP, Nourishment can also cancel all Mana-depleting spells (e.g. Spear).
