Food

Food are usable items in Adopt Me!. Food and Drink items are used to complete the baby's or pet's "Hungry" or "Thirsty" task by feeding the baby/pet a food item. Upon completing the task, the player is rewarded 10.

Most food can be bought at the Farm Shop or Green Groceries, though some can be taken for free and/or can be bought at specific stores or during events. Babies and parents can eat the same food item several times, with the number of uses varying for each item; however, pets will consume every food item in a set amount of time.

The Healing Apple is a food item, but it does not complete the "Hungry" task; it is instead used to fulfill the "Sick" task. Upon completing the task, the player is rewarded 12. The potions bought at the Sky Castle can give the player or pet a unique effect when consumed, but they do not complete any of the pet or baby's needs. The Cure All Potion can be used to complete all of the pet/baby's needs.

Most food items can be consumed by all parents, babies, and pets. The only exceptions are the Ride-A-Pet Potion, Fly-A-Pet Potion, and the other potions that were sold in the Potion Shop, as they are potions that can only be consumed by pets. Similarly, the eggs that could be obtained in the Easter Event (2019) cannot be consumed by players or pets.

Candy

All event food items classified as candy can slightly increase a player's speed. Players are not allowed to consume candies in obbies and are unable to use any food item that makes them faster while being in an obby.
