The second season of 12 oz. Mouse aired from September 2006 to December 2006. Season 2 originally premiered on September 24, 2006 with "Bowtime" and concluded on December 17, 2006 with "Prolegomenon". A total of 13 episodes were aired over the span of four months.
Production & Development
The second season of 12 oz. Mouse was originally greenlighted with over 20 episodes, according to one of Matt Maiellaro's interviews. After the first three episodes were produced, Season 2 ended up being shortened to over thirteenth episodes due to the show's cancellation.

Trivia
- Unlike the first season, Season 2 of 12 oz. Mouse had its own trailer, which originally aired as a commercial back in 2006.
- Many of these episodes originally aired in an unfinished state, with either missing pieces of dialogue or no effects for certain lighting, audio and sound.
Home Video Releases
- Season 2, along with Season 1, was released onto the shows first and only DVD titled "12 oz. Mouse: The Movie" where the whole series was spliced together to create a movie, adding some new footage to the show as well.
- Season 2 was added to HBO Max (now called Max) on December 31st, 2020, along with Season 1. Although the season, and the rest of the entire series, has since been removed off of there as of 2024. Prior to its removal, the episodes "Bowtime", "Surgery Circus", and "Corndog Chronicles" would remain unexpectedly missing on there.
- Season 2 is also available on iTunes and various POV services.
