Roostre (pronounced and also spelled as Rooster) is a corndog farmer who lives on a farm full of giant corndogs. He has blonde hair that is constantly moving, a hook used in place for one of his hands, and has a habit of playing on an acoustic guitar to sing. Roostre will often talk about the mysterious "Birmingham/C. J. Muff" who left "Q109" to some people like Fitz and Spider. He also talks about a story of being abducted by an indistinct figure, taken to a white room, being paralyzed by a dart to the neck, and being pushed towards a "giant, spinning fan".

Alliances & Friendships
Roostre has quite a friendly and inviting personality, making it easy to befriend townsfolk. Out of all his companions, the most notable characters are Mouse Fitzgerald and CJ Muff. After meeting Fitz, he began to inform him of all the strange occurrences of their universe, and the two eventually work to find the way out of their nonsensical world. As for Muff, not much is known about their friendship, but they seem to be quite close, despite CJ escaping the universe of Q109.
Enemies
Like other characters, Roostre dislikes the trio of Shark, the Rectangular Businessman, and the Industry Man (which is shown a lot more with the latter in the last couple of episodes of the third season). He has also talked with Sirus in "Prime Time Nursery Rhyme" to formulate a plan to take down Shyd Industries.

Trivia
- Roostre is voiced by Scott Luallen, a member of the band Nine Pound Hammer, who has performed multiple songs for the series such as the theme song.
- As revealed in "Pre-Reckoning", Roostre told Liquor that "some bitch took off his hand in the middle of the night" after he built his hook.
- It was revealed in Season 3 episode "Francis, Cheap & Out of Control" that Roostre's favorite foods are corndogs, jerky, corn, corndog jerky, and mustard. He also wished for some jerky in "Awaken".
- The Hand seen running around is actually his homing hand, as revealed in "Meaty Dreamy".
