The Raptor (ラプトール, Raputōru) is a Velociraptor-Type Zoid, one of over 200 species of biomechanical lifeforms depicted by TOMY's Zoids model, toy and media franchise.
Overview
The Raptor is a small Zoid with an open-air cockpit. Compared to other Zoids in the Zoids: Wild series, it is an S-sized Zoid.

Zoids: Wild
In Zoids: Wild, the Raptor is known as Rapterrix
The Rapterrix appears in episode 1 of the Zoids: Wild anime. It is primarily a 'grunt' type opponent that makes up part of the Dark Metal Empire forces.
The Rapterrix's Death Blast is first seen in episode 7, where it is being experimented on as a part of Dark Metal's research into Hacker Keys.
Rapterrix would continue to be seen throughout the anime. Colours of the Raptors vary depending on the faction. Dark Metal Rapterrix are red, Rapterrix belonging to the Resistance are gold, while wild Rapterrix are Green.
Episode 23 sees a unique Rapterrix called 'Rain', who is raised by children, but captured and forced into Dark Metal experiments. It escapes and returns to the nearby village while rogue. Eventually Drake is forced to kill the Zoid.
Episode 40 sees the first time Rapterrix use their mass-produced Dark Blast. While using this attack, the effectiveness of Rapterrix improves substantially.
