Reddit (stylized as reddit) is an American YouTube channel of the social media network by the same name. The website/app is mainly organized with user-created boards called "subreddits".[1][2]
History
Company
The company was founded on June 23, 2005.[3] The company was later merged with Infogami.[4] In 2006, Condé Nast acquired Reddit for less than $20,000,000 and the headquarters were moved to San Francisco, California.[5]
Channel
Usually, Reddit's videos are mostly about new updates and features inside Reddit. The Reddit channel was created on July 19, 2006, and they uploaded their first five videos on September 8, 2009, which were QnA videos.[6][7][8][9][10]
