Facebook (stylized as facebook, formerly Thefacebook),^[2] is an American^[1] social media website owned by Meta (previously known as Facebook, Inc.).^[3]

History

First Upload

Facebook's channel was created on May 6, 2009. The channel didn't upload until November 16, 2010, when it uploaded a video about people at Facebook showing how they help the website.^[4]

Founders

The founders of Facebook were Mark Zuckerberg, with Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Huges.^[5]
