Shocked by the repeated event, Fubuki decides to avoid any poop she encounters, that is until she bumped into Mataro who forgotten something! It seems that Fubuki is trapped in a time loop where stepping on the "poop" is the trigger which continues to follow her no matter where. How will Fubuki break free from this predicament?

Plot

Warning: plot & spoiler details are listed below.
The episode starts off by Naokiman bringing up a topic about the possibility of changing the past, where he uses eating the pudding cup in an infinite time loop for an example. He then shows what it might be like whilst he introduces the main setting.

The day begins when Fubuki wakes from alarm, greeted by Jinpei, Sandayu and Mataro at her door, and getting ready for school. Everyone eats their breakfast where Mataro's "Tamago Kake Gohan" has a double yolk, Jinpei's Koppei Sandwich has a surprise filling of Harusame Salad and Pot Stickers. As they head to campus, a dog passes by and leaves some pink poop behind whereas Mataro tries to stop Fubuki from coming into contact, but she ends up stepping in it and suddenly gets everything shines with the sound of a clock chime.

The next morning, Fubuki wakes up with a sweat believing what happened previously was nothing more as a dream. To Fubuki's observance, the days turns out the exactly the same as the previous day, with the same conversation and breakfast. Fubuki relieves herself of the "accidental event" as some sort of clairvoyance, until she comes across the same poop. Fubuki avoids it by jumping over it, until Mataro (who forgotten something) carelessly bumps into her, causing her to accidentally step onto the poop, blinking everything in a flash again.

The next day, Fubuki wakes up alarmed which comes to the gang's attention and rudely yells at Mataro (for what happened previously) that she is fine. Noticing the day is being repeated again, Fubuki hypothesises that she may be stuck in a time loop and somehow, stepping on the poop maybe the trigger. In her failed attempts to avoid the poop (that somehow keeps following her), Fubuki flies to school in her hovershoes which then malfunctions, modifies them to jet her all the way to campus when the pooping dog wanders into her classroom, and trying to smack it away during PE class, but finds itself back through a Butterfly effect reaction, and so on.

Fubuki finally explains to Jinpei, Mataro and Sandayu her circumstances who believe her when she proves it by revealing the surprises in their breakfast to which she already knows from the previous loops. Mataro asks Fubuki is she did anything unusual before the loops, where she reveals she just went to grab a pudding cup from the cafeteria fridge, but also felt something off as it somebody was watching her. They then point to the wall clock, the only object around in the cafeteria when Fubuki was at the scene. Their suspicions are proven when the clock's chime is exactly the same whenever Fubuki comes into contact with the poop. Mataro believes the clock is one of the Seven Academy Mysteries, which rumor has it the clock comes crying in the middle of the night, and anyone that hears it would be inflicted a curse.

Mr. Usumizawa appears to remind them to get to class and Mataro asks him about the clock's origins. He says it belonged to the previous dormitory owners whose initials are carved onto it, but somehow makes strange crying noises. Using the YSP Watch to scan the area, it reveals the clock is actually an Onryo and the whole "time loop" on Fubuki was his pranks out of boredom. Mataro denies this and deduces the clock wanted to go back during the time when his owner's Hideo and Yoshie, were around. Onryo then admits he belonged to them and their family. Time passed as their children grew and Yoshie passed away, Hideo was the only family the clock has left until Hideo decided to sell it to Y-Academy, leaving it to be resentful of humans.

Behind the scenes, Mr. Usumizawa again uses his hair strand to transmogrify the Onryo into Clockman. The YSP Club fights back, but finds the fight hard when Clockman uses its powers to reverse time back by 5 seconds from Benimaru's finishing blow. Fubuki almost gets hit, when somehow she activates her Yokai Power as she pushes Mataro onto Clockman's pendulum, which cancels out its powers, and allowing Kengo Benimaru to finish it off.

Reverting back to normal, the clock further laments about being thrown away once they're done with, until a familiar human appears which the clock recognizes as Hideo's son, Seiichi, whom Mr. Usumizawa hired to repair the clock. Seeing the clock having sentience, Seiichi clears the clock's misunderstanding that Hideo donated it to the academy, so it wouldn't be left alone. Because Hideo was already old and his time coming, the latter was in a dilemma to let go of the thing he cherished so much with his family. in the hospital, Hideo laments he never properly bid farewell and asked Seiichi to fulfull his wish, which put the clock in tears of how wrong he was.

The clock apologises and thanks the YSP club for convincing him as it purifies itself into an Onryo named Broken Clock. Natsuki Enra suddenly appears into the dorm and having witnessing the event, congratulates Fubuki for awakening her YSP Powers. She hands Fubuki a YSP Watch which the Broken Clock enters, generating out her medals as the new which makes the spirit go inside it and several YSP Medals being formed in the process including one of Yo-kai Hero Clock Lady. Meanwhile in the student council office, Tsutomu Sanpo informs Ranto of the YSP Club's accomplishment on solving the 3rd Mystery, to which Mr. Usumizawa is also impressed about elsewhere.

Trivia

  • The name of the clock owner's son Seiichi is a possible reference to Senkichi that appears in a quest exclusively via Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters; the latter had the clock broken on arrival to Otoki's marriage while the former specializes in repairing clocks.
  • The episode is parody towards the 1985 sci-fi film, Template:Nihongo, with the similar plot of predestination paradoxes whenever Fubuki is destined to step on the poop.
