History
Prior Events
Thirty years before the events of the game, Wampus was created in the Y-Circle found under the Pyramid but seemingly had his memory erased. He spent that time wandering around Y Academy, hoping to find someone that can see him.
Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life
On the beginning of the school year, Mataro Tamada noticed a mysterious bakeneko who had been watching him the entire time ever since he enrolled in Y Academy. Jinpei and Sandayu check on Mataro to see if he is fine, and finds out about Wampus who warms up to them at first until he unintentionally threatens him which builds up to a fight.
Wampus suddenly makes up for what had happened after the fight, and offers to be friends with Jinpei. Natsuki Enra had been watching the fight the entire time and congratulates Jinpei and Sandayu, where she gives them both the YSP Watch. Wampus is used again in the fight against Mera Raido before Jinpei transforms into Kengo Benimaru with his Yo-kai Hero Medal, as part of the assignment given by Natsuki Enra.
Later on when the YSP Club members get trapped into the Pyramid, Wampus briefly remembers his time with Goromi and Bluepon and unexpectedly collide into Jinpei, where he is freed from Mazera's control. Some time after the rescue, they unexpectedly end up fusing into Mikettio, where the fusion ends up trying to kill Jinpei but is stopped when he transforms into Earth Walker via his new UR Watch.
After Elna Amami leaves Y Academy to try and run a nation of her own, Wampus, Goromi and Bluepon start to doubt Jinpei over him using Mikettio more than the three in the times they need. They almost refused to be friends with him any longer until Fubuki Himekawa steps in and comes up with a solution of using their Y Medals as weapons that can be equipped in Jinpei's Yo-kai Hero forms.
