Soukenzan (Japanese: 双剣山 Soukenzan) is an area in the Yo-kai World that appears in Yo-kai Watch Shadowside, as well as Yo-kai Watch 4.
Overview
Soukenzan is a mountainous area with trees and a few caves. The most prominent areas are two peaks. One is where Kyryn resides, the other is where the Suzaku Soutenzan is held. The only way to reach these peaks is by riding a bird either by Suzaku's Celestial form or the birds that reside in the area in Yo-kai Watch 4.

In the anime
Soukenzan appears in SS021. After being mortally wounded in a battle against Voidera, Suzaku opens a portal to the Yo-kai World, and tells Bruno that in order to survive his injury, he needs to return to being a Sword Bearer, just like Lord Acala. After turning into a smaller form in order to survive his injuries, Suzaku, along with Bruno, Summer, Cole and Tate have to travel through the Pond of Twisted Necks to get to Soukenzan. They arrive and Suzaku informs them the Suzaku Soutenzan is located on one of the Twin Sword Mountains, but he doesn't know which one. However, Bruno notices he's getting thinner, due to Suzaku's presence needing a large amount of energy, and his body fat has a lot of it. Since Bruno will eventually die if he gets too thin, they set to work climbing the mountain. However, Bruno and Suzaku get separated from the rest, meaning they have to climb the mountain on their own.
Eventually getting to the top, Bruno and Suzaku find Mythical Beast Kyryn, who tells them they failed the test of luck by climbing the wrong mountain, and attacks them. Meanwhile, Summer, Cole and Tate climbed the right mountain, but are unable to pull out the sword. They notice Bruno's fight with Kyryn, as Kyryn informs Bruno and Suzaku that the sword has chosen Bruno, and they will be unable to pull out the sword. As Kyryn says he will bury Suzaku here, Suzaku transforms back into his Mythical Beast form, speeding up Bruno's calorie drain. However, Suzaku just uses his wings to push Bruno to the correct mountain, as Sly catches him. As Bruno tries to pull out the sword, Kyryn comes to attack, with Summer summoning Jibanyan to protect him. After Jibanyan is defeated, Cole transforms into Lord Acala, who eventually defeats Kyryn. Kyryn drops his Genjuu Disk, as Bruno pulls out the Suzaku Soutenzan, causing Suzaku to transform back to his Sword Bearer form, and giving his Sacred Armory weapon to Cole. After this, the Shadowside Detective Agency heads home.
