Allnyta (Japanese: ＫＡＮＴＥＴＳＵ (かんてつ) Kantetsu) is a Rank B Lightning-attribute Yo-kai of the Shady tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch 2.

In Yo-kai Watch 2, Allnyta evolves from Wydeawake when fused with Hidabat. As of Yo-kai Watch Blasters, Wydeawake evolves into Allnyta when fused with Tengloom.

Allnyta has pale blue skin. He always bears a sharp-toothed grin, and his red eyes are always half-shut with dark bags underneath them. He has a dusty-red mullet, and two horns that are the same color. Tiny yellow stars float around its head, and purple clouds float around his orange moon-shaped tail. He wears a navy blue robe, and a white coffee cup on his head. He sits on a lavender colored cloud and carries a Nintendo 3DS with him all of the time.

Allnyta was added during the event that lasted from December 1st 2018 to December 15th 2018 on a hidden stage of the limited map. This hidden stage was unlocked dealing 3,000 or more damage with the Charming tribe on stage 21.

Allnyta also appeared in a hidden stage during the January 1st 2020 to January 16th 2020 event, unlocked when stage 7 is cleared with a score of 150,000 or higher and a hidden stage during December 1st 2020 to December 16th 2020 event if a combo of 10 or more is achieved in stage 13.

Etymology

  • His English name, "Allnyta," is a corruption of “All-Nighter”; the act of keeping oneself busy throughout the night until sunrise.
  • His Spanish name, "Cafeíno," is a corruption of "Cafeína" (Caffeine); a substance that stimulates the brain and, subsequently, keeps one awake for longer.
  • "Noctambill" is a joke on the French word "noctambule," night owl in English.
  • "Dormai" is a pun on dormire (to sleep) and mai (never).

Trivia

  • Allnyta, along with his pre-evolved form Wydeawake, and Failian, are the few Yo-kai with their Japanese names written in uppercase Italic letters. In the games, these names carry their respective furigana above each syllable to make their pronunciation easier to Japanese players.
