Deathroaches (also known as maw roaches)[1] are roaches found in the Maw. No one is quite sure what these vile[2] pests eat or why they exist, nor have they been able to get rid of them.[3] Many have asked where they came from and how they made it to the Maw, but none who researched them have ever been heard from again.[4] Environments full of hardship and agony, such as Torghast, are perfect for deathroaches.[5]

As a companion pet
- Deathroach and Vile Deathroach can be caught from pet battles in the Maw.
[Hissing Deathroach] and 
[Tower Deathroach] are rare drops from Torghast, Tower of the Damned.
[Undying Deathroach] is a rare drop from the Maw.
As a hunter pet
They are part of the beetle hunter pet family.
