MILAN started to enter service in 1978. Milan serves as the British Army man portable anti-tank missile. The MILAN Mobile Section of the anti-tank platoon of the Mechanized (Wheeled) battalions equipped with Saxon and Light Role Battalions were equipped with four Rover MILAN.
