The Fusiliers are the standard basic rifle platoon unit for the United Kingdom in the Wargame series, they have fairly basic stats compared to their peers. They were first introduced in Wargame: European Escalation.
History
British Infantry sections was organized using the rifle and guns groups similar to their forefathers in the World War II.
Early Cold War British Infantry was mechanized in FV603 provided by a RAC APC regiment or organically crewed. The bulk of the late cold BOAR infantry component were mechanized in either FV432 or armored in Warriors.
When 24th Infantry Brigade became airmobile two infantry battalion were converted to Airmobile Battalions with the last battalion being Mechanized (W) battalion mounted in Saxons with the next Arm Plot rotation being a Airmobile battalion.
The UKMF's 1st Infantry Brigade has their three infantry battalion being Mechanized (W) battalions mounted in Saxon and 4th Armorer's 19th infantry brigade having also three Mechanized (W) battalions.
United Kingdom Berlin Brigade has three Type A battalion of Berlin subvariant.

European Escalation
The Fusiliers can be brought onto the battlefield via a FV603 SARACEN or a FV103 SPARTAN for ground transport, or with a LYNX AH.1 and its armed variant the LYNX AH.7 if aerial insertion is required. They are armed with a LAW, the inaccurate M72, for short range anti-tank duty, and the L1A1 SLR Rifle. 32 reinforcements can be brought on the battlefield.
Compared to similar NATO rifle platoons, the Fusiliers lack in anti-tank accuracy, but are standard on the rest. Their main advantage is the ability to come on the battlefield for the same price as non FAMAS Chasseurs with their FV603 SARACEN while being better infantry, becoming one of the most cost-efficient NATO infantry.
