M67 recoilless rifle was a 90-mm antitank recoilless rifle made in the United States and later in the Republic of Korea and Greece. M67 recoilless rifle entered service with the US military in the early 1960s. M67 recoilless rifle can fire Heat and antipersonal rounds. The disadvatages of the M67 is the weight and the blackblast.
It was mostly replaced by the M47 Dragon anti-tank missile system in 1975. But the M67 remain as a substitute standard antitank weapon for special tasks or battle environments. 6th Infantry Division in Alaska keeps theirs. While the Army Rangers replaced their M67 with 84mm M3 Carl Gustav in the 1990s.
During the 2011, members of the 4th Brigade, 101st Airborne DIvision were issued M67 for use in Afghanistan
