Ullia is a minor antagonist and a game boss in the 2017 video game Horizon Zero Dawn, serving as one of the three main antagonists (alongside Rasgrund and Gavan) in the side quest "Sunstone Rock".
She is a member of the Tenakth's Lowland Clan and later a criminal, who was imprisoned in Sunstone Rock, after joining with a group of bandits in the Blackwing Snag Bandit Camp.
When Rasgrund used a machine lure to attack the prison with two Behemoth machines, she was one of the three prisoners who escaped, long before she was soon killed by Aloy in the same bandit camp she went in, prior to her imprisonment.
Ullia is voiced by Jules de Jong.
Background
Imprisonment
When Ullia initially arrived in the Sundom, he joined a group of jungle bandits at a bandit camp before being apprehended and brought to Sunstone Rock. She was kept in an isolated cage because of her ferocious and deadly temperament. However, this did not lessen her aggressiveness as she continued to attempt to bite off Rasgrund's finger. She also interacted with former Carja noble turned Tenakth Marshal Fashav at some time when she was incarcerated.
Sunstone Rock
After Rasgrund's machine lure prompted two Behemoths to assault the jail, Ullia, Rasgrund, and Gavan managed to escape from Sunstone Rock. Before Aloy encountered her, she made her way to the adjacent bandit camp, Blackwing Snag. After being defeated by the Nora Huntress, Ullia acknowledges that she would have raised Nora as her own daughter and asks for a taste of her blood so that her life's tales may continue.
Trivia
- Ullia is the only Tenakth character in Horizon Zero Dawn. Her face paint indicates that she originated from the Tenakth's Lowland clan.
- Before the introduction of the Tenakth in Forbidden West Ullia is the only known Tenakth in the game who is a staunch believer of the tribe's old-fashioned ways before Hekarro's reforms including cannibalism and blood-drinking, as shown in her dialogue about wanting Aloy to drink her blood before dying.
