The Roguls are a hostile species featured in the LEGO Nexo Knights TV series. They are stone statues originally created by Merlok to store Forbidden Powers, but were corrupted by long time exposure to them. Decades later, they would be found by Monstrox and Jestro and brought to life, becoming part of their Stone Monsters army and giving them the possession over the powers they guarded. After Monstrox was defeated and his body was destroyed, all Roguls known to have served him turned into inanimate statues.
All Roguls wear either a hood or a knight's helmet on their head. The only visible feature their face has is their eyes. Roguls lack legs, having a whirl of rocks in their place.
Behaviour
Although Merlok created them for a good purpose, that being to keep the Forbidden Powers from falling into the wrong hands, most of the known Roguls were shown to be villainous, with the only exception being Rogul of Vicious Voltage. It was stated they were corrupted by the powers they guarded, though it may also be due to the fact that while the latter was brought to life by the well-meaning Fletcher Bowman, all others were given life by the devious necromancer Monstrox. Merlok 2.0 himself seems to confirm this, stating that a Rogul obeys and protects whoever awakened them.
Due to long exposure to the Forbidden Powers they were guarding, Roguls are able to use them even if they no longer have the power tablet in their possession. It's unknown if they can still use them after the original source of the power is destroyed, however.
Roguls rarely show any hints of personality. There have been a few exceptions, however, such as one of the Roguls being briefly thrown into a panic after Jestro used the power of Shocking Scare on them, and Rogul of Vicious Voltage imitating some of Bowman's actions, even his laughter.

Trivia
Rogul of Vicious Voltage is the only known Rogul to have served a heroic character and not Monstrox, and the only one whose fate remains unknown.
Certain lines in The Forbidden Power and The Book of Monstrox indicate that all Roguls are male.
