Niji Ebina is a minor antagonist from the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a cursed user and serial killer who agreed to work for Kenjaku during the Shibuya Incident Arc.
Appearance
Ebina is a shirtless man of muscular build, wearing a strange-looking green creature beanie on his head and carrying an egoistical smile on his face. He also had his pet cursed spirit which is an orange bulldog wrapped with a chain around his neck attached to Ebina's right wrist.
Personality
Ebina's nature can hardly be described a lot, although he can be portrayed as a ruthless individual with the smile he carries as he appears out of the shadows to confront Mei Mei and her brother. However, when he meets his defeat against Mei Mei, he can be seen as a coward. It was also stated that his defeat was in reason of his weak faith in life.
Biography
With Kokichi Muta alerting Mei Mei and Itadori Yuji that two incoming enemies are walking towards them, Ebina and his dog emerge out of the shadow of the tunnel to confirm if one of them is named Mei Mei.
Moments later, Mei Mei overpowers Ebina who begs for mercy and tells her that he will leave as she explains her ability to control crow. Her younger brother, Ui Ui orders him to shut up as she is still talking. As she finishes explaining how she climbed to her current potential as a first-grade sorcerer, Ui Ui orders Ebina to applaud to which he obeys silently. Mei Mei declares it is time for him to die, but Ebina begs for her to spare him. Mei Mei asks her brother if he knows what a person's life is worth Ui Ui happily replies how important it is to her. She finishes him by swinging her axe on his head as she tells him that because he is a murderer, he is unable to immediately answer, and is the reason why he lost.
Abilities
While sensing his cursed energy from a fair distance away, Mei Mei and Yuji Itadori believed he was stronger than Ko-Guy, unofficially ranking him around semi-grade 1 level. However, he is shown to be a relativity weak thanks to his lack of intelligence, with Mei Mei easily killing him without the use of her cursed technique.
