Hajime Kashimo also known as the God of Lightning, is a major character in the manga/anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers from 400 years ago who was revived by Kenjaku, and takes part in the Culling Game in order to find a worthy opponent.

He always had a desire to fight the King of Curses Ryomen Sukuna, so he teams up with the heroes to achieve his goal. Despite his best efforts, he is ultimately killed by Sukuna.

Appearance

Kashimo from 400 years ago was an old man wearing a brown robe. He had gray hair tied up and his face covered in scars. After being reborn by Kenjaku in a young body, Hajime has long cyan hair, partially tied on the left and right, and his clothes are all white.

Personality

Hajime is a textbook example of a jujutsu wizard raised in the old days, who is only interested in fighting strong opponents. Hajime was ultimately bored and dissatisfied with the battles he fought. He values life very differently than modern humans, and agreed to Kenjaku's terms only to fight Sukuna, his most powerful potential opponent.

Hajime gets bored quite quickly, and does not like to fight weak opponents who cannot satisfy him. He found Panda to be below average, but Kinji Hakari gave Hajime a real challenge, which he found very interesting due to the unique nature of his abilities. Even when the fight doesn't go his way or his life is in mortal danger, Hajime enjoys the challenge.

Despite everything, Hajime seemed to have an extreme respect for Kinji Hakari, as he gave him a real challenge and satisfaction in the fight, even admitting that the fight was fun, which was a compliment he had not given to any of his opponents in the Culling Game.
