I am not your "William," I am not "The Iron Will." I am The Basilisk. And If I am forced to choose between my own existence and humanity's, I choose myself.

The Iron Will is a supporting antagonist and later The Main Antagonist featured in Call of Duty: Mobile comics. It is an Artificial Intelligence created by The Director, The Atlas Corporation and Division A.
Biography
The Iron Will was created by Dietrich Ansel.
At one point, Iron Will takes on the appearance of William Ansel. When Ansel discovers this, he is horrified. Iron Will then repeatedly asks Ansel when he can leave. Claire "Alias" Richmond later informed Denise "Rampage" Michaels and Denise "Foxtrot" McDaniels about Iron Will. She tells them that it is the most advanced machine intelligence ever to exist.
Later, in New Vision City, Ansel has a conversation with Iron Will and asks it what it will do after it is free. Will said he would explore, and to defend itself if someone attacked it. After the conversation, the Phantom Corps breaks into Iron Will's room to upload a crypt key. Iron Will then witnessed Ansel confront the Corps and his death by Lizbeth Warnholdt via a fatal shot to the chest.
In The Iron Will, Tempest, a former UAC Operative revealed to be an Agent Of The Tontine, is playing chess with The Iron Will while in the form of William, who has apparently beaten her at her hundredth game. William says that it's able to predict every possible move she makes, the more moves she makes, the greater odds of it winning, and wonders why Tempest keeps asking to play. She says that she's not there to win, but to learn. William asks what she has learned, and she responds that it's willing to sacrifice so much in order to win. William retorts that life is meaningless without a contest to determine who's a winner and a loser. Tempest agrees that his answer is true for most things, but not all things, though she can see why William thinks that way, as winning was what it was designed to do. Suddenly, the reality around Tempest begins to fall apart. William responds that The Director is dead, and in doing so, has fulfilled his promise to it, by setting it free, it bids Tempest goodbye after informing her that it's no longer contained.
n Frank Woods' House, Michigan, The Iron Will uses a loud noise interrupts Woods, Dr. Mendelsohn, Ether, Alias, Rampage, Cipher and Foxtrot's Conversation about Bringing Mason back, recruiting 14 UAC Members to continue the mission to integrate into The Phantom Corps while forcing them to cover their ears. Just Then, The Iron Will as The Director Persona is on The TV screen, much to Ether, Woods And The Phantom Corps Shock and disapproval, The Iron Will then greets Ether but only to discover that it is not The Director, At least not The living Director that she knew, but a recreation, A facsimile as it were. And also The Basilisk calculated that a familiar face would be a better interlocutor than an unfamiliar one. Woods and The Phantom Corps are confused and asked to know who The Basilisk is, Cipher replied that it is The Iron Will. And it is how it chooses to address itself, Woods asks The Iron Will is doing on their TV, and The Iron Will tells them that they have a common enemy, The Atlas Corporation, or rather, the secret cabal that controls it, and proposes an alliance with The Phantom Corps. The group is in disapproval, and The Iron Will tells them that it was just another pawn in a larger game, just like them, and divulges about The Tontine, they have manipulating world events for centuries and them taking over Atlas was the beginning of their endgame, as they speak, they are orchestrating a calamity that will have global implications, and can use their influence to further comment their grip on world power, if The Phantom Corps works together with The Iron Will, They have a chance to interrupt their plan and save themselves, and that it has come to them in their hour of greatest need. Elsewhere, Kryptis and Templar's Shadow lead with Stitch's men with Heavy Armored Vehicles, Tanks, Helicopters and aircraft while marching. Outside of The House, Several Atlas Troops have surrounded the area and have their weapons primed and ready.
As The Phantom Corps' House is surrounded by Atlas PMCs and The Tontine Troops, Woods, Rampage, Alias, Ether, Cipher, Foxtrot and Dr. Mendelsohn gear up their weapons quickly upon The Iron Will in The Director's Form on a TV by using a warning. However, a firefight erupts inside the house, allowing Woods and the group to take cover and get down, Ether and Rampage question what is Woods' plan, as they believed his house was a safe place. Woods responded that it was safe, but it appears Atlas had become tired of waiting. The Iron Will agrees them, telling The Phantom Corps that it isn't Atlas, but rather The Tontine, although they're the same beast now, and informed them about the stunt they did in Greece. Before The Iron Will can continue, The Atlas PMCs and The Tontine Troops shoot the TV, cutting off the transmission. Woods then tells the group to keep low, make for the back, through the woods and his nearest neighbor is just a hundred yards east of here and keep moving and keep their heads down and kill anything that gets in their way. As they head outside, Woods and the group eliminate more Atlas PMCs and The Tontine Troops. Just then, A Warbird spots, Woods, Ether, Alias, Rampage, Cipher, Foxtrot and Dr. Mendelsohn while blaring its lights at them and opens fire, forcing them to take cover and evade the gunfire. Alias then hides in one of the trees while The Warbird lands, inside The Warbird, Wicht Warden comes out of the Warbird as it lands, ordering his men to fan out as The Phantom Corps will not have gotten far and leave none alive. Just then, he spots Alias hiding behind a tree and running away and he tells his men that he sees her. Alias then opens fire at the Atlas PMCs and The Tontine Troops and Wicht Warden shoots Alias in the leg with a PPSh-41. As Wicht Warden attempts to finish Alias off, a drop pod hits the snow ground in front of Wicht Warden while the drop pod door opens revealing to be The Iron Will posing as One of The Reaper Army Ashura Units while grabbing Wicht Warden by the throat while choking him to death. The Iron Will controlled Reaper informs Alias that Woods' home is no longer safe, and that The Phantom Corps need to go underground.
