Chimeras

Chimeras (キメラ, Kimera^?) are artificially created beings formed by fusing various species, combining their strengths into a powerful new entity. Demon Lord Diganazal specialized in the creation of chimeras.

Appearance

Due to chimeras being creations formed from multiple parts of various species, their appearances can vary drastically.

Biology

Biologically, chimeras can be a fusion of all kinds of species, depending on their creation. Fecaccio, who was originally born human, first appeared in his humanoid form before transforming into his chimera form. This transformation turned him into a massive being with a lower body resembling a canine or feline creature and an upper body resembling a demonic human. He had four legs with paws, two muscular human arms, a pair of dragon-like wings, horns, and a cobra-headed tail.

Additionally, Diganazal sewed his support fairy, Rythmi, onto his chest inside a mana crystal, allowing Fecaccio to access the fairy's mana reserves. Diganazal also infused her own demon blood into Fecaccio when transforming him into a chimera.^[1] Her other servants, who were originally born as demons with varying appearances, took on monstrous and abominable forms upon becoming chimeras.^[2][3]

All of Diganazal's chimeras existed solely to serve her and appeared to be mindless creatures without a will of their own.

Overall Strength

Diganazal's chimera servants were said to possess strength rivaling that of the top demons,^[4] with Fecaccio even capable of moving at super speed.^[5] However, they ultimately proved far too weak to defeat someone on Ginbak's level.

History

Demon Lord Arc

Diganazal reveals that she has created various chimeras by fusing demons and other lifeforms to develop the Great Demon King's Army. It is also revealed that Fecaccio is one of her chimeras, with Diganazal stating that he is her favourite. However, all of her chimeras are ultimately defeated by Ginbak.^[6]
