Vehicles are Entities that are used by The Player for means of transportation, storage, and protection. They are found across most Playable Maps. Vehicles are split into five different categories in the game; Car, Train, Plane, Helicopter, and Boat. There is also six classes of vehicles in the game that the wiki uses; Civilian, Civil Service (Emergency), Industrial, Military, Makeshift, and Miscellaneous.
Vehicle Properties:
Building:
Building is a property allows The Player to place Barricades on the Vehicle. In the current version of Unturned 3.0, it is possible to build on top and inside of any vehicle in the same way you can build on the ground. Certain curated maps like Arid and A6 Polaris do limit or restrict building on vehicle.
You can place any Barricades on or in your vehicle. But placing a high amount of Barricades, will effect the vehicle handing and speed. When a vehicle is destroyed, any and all structures on it will be destroyed. But with storage barricades like Crates, they will drop their contents just as they would when destroyed while placed on the ground.
Electricity:
Electricity is a property that power vehicles and is essential to most vehicles. Most vehicles need battery of any percent above zero to operate. Certain vehicles don't require a battery and fuel to operate like Bicycle. While some vehicles are electric and need a battery and no fuel to operate.
New, unused vehicle start with 0-100% electricity; it allows players to use electrical components for any amount of time, or to replace the Vehicle Battery. On creation, vehicle will have a random chance to spawn with any percent of battery. But if spawned using Server Commands it will spawn with max battery capacity as of 3.14.2.0.
Vehicle Battery will drain if the headlight or siren is on. If the vehicle is running with no electrical components on then the Alternator will activate and charge the battery. If a vehicle's battery charge reaches 0%, the battery is destroyed entirely and will need to be replaced. A battery can be removed from a vehicle by entering the vehicle, opening the it's GUI and inventory G (Default Keybind) and clicking [Steal Battery]. To install and/or replace a battery, equip it and then press LMB (Default Keybind) on the vehicle. Replacement batteries can be found at Mechanic Locations or on other Vehicles.
For more info, view the Vehicle Battery.
Fuel:
Fuel is a property that is needed to operate most vehicles and is essential to most vehicles. Some vehicles don't require a fuel to operate like the Bicycle and Nikola.
New, unused vanilla vehicles start with 0-40% fuel; it allows players to either use it to travel a small distance, or to refuel or siphon with a Fuel Canister. Different vehicles have different fuel tank capacities and gas usage which allows it to travel any range of distance. On creation, vehicles have a 5% chance to be at max fuel, a 25% chance to be empty, and a 70% chance to have a fuel level from max/20 to min/5, which is randomly determined. But if spawned using Server Commands it will spawn with max fuel as of 3.14.2.0.
Different vehicles have different fuel tank capacities. For example, the Golfcart and the Luggage Car have the maximum fuel capacity of 400 fuel units (the lowest), while APC's and Urals have a maximum capacity of 2500 fuel units (the highest). You can determine the maximum fuel capacity of a vehicle by noting how many gas cans are required to completely fuel the vehicle or checking the fuel capacity in the .dat folder and multiplying that by 10. One full portable gas can holds 500, an industrial gas can holds 2500, birch, maple, and pine makeshift gas can holds 275, 300, and 325.
Health:
Health refers to the percentage of health that is on a vehicle. Vehicles can easily loose durability if they hit zombies, animals. players, barricades, and objects. Damage can also be received by being hit by weaponry, animals, and zombies. Damage can be physically observed when the vehicle starts smoking at 30% durability. The more damage the vehicle gets, then the darker the some is. If the vehicle reaches 0 percent then the vehicle will start burning until it explodes. As soon as the vehicle explodes the vehicle can't be repaired.
Once the vehicle explodes it will spawn Items around the vehicle. Vehicles can be repaired with Blowtorch. The rate of repair can be improved by upgrading the Engineer Skill.
Magnetism:
Magnetism is a vehicle property which allows a simplified towing mechanism. To activate it the player goes near the vehicle and go into the inventory and click [Tow] or click CTRL (Default Keybind). Once attached the player can move the vehicle anywhere before release it using the same keybinds.
Seats:
Seats is a vehicle property which refers to the amount of players that can be in a single vehicle at once. All passengers can hold and use weaponry while in the vehicle. Certain seats can have available weaponry that can be use. To enter the vehicle The Player click F (Default Keybind) and will seat at any empty seats. While in the vehicle, to switch seats the player enter the inventory and click G (Default Keybind) click on a empty seat [???] or they can press F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, F10, F11, or F12 (Default Keybind) for there perspective seats.
Security:
Security is a vehicle property which is primarily refers to Locking and Unlocking. But there are certain vehicles that can't be locked like the Bicycle or Civilian Elver Vehicles.
New, unused vanilla vehicles start unlocked. Players can lock the vehicle by entering the vehicle and clicking O (Default Keybind) or going into the menu and clicking [Lock]. A locked vehicle cannot be entered by other players, except players belonging to the the same group as the player who locked the vehicle. An unauthorized player can access a locked vehicle by using a Stealy Wheely Automobiley and clicking LMB (Default Keybind), but it will mark the player as an "Aggressor"
For more info, view the Stealy Wheely Automobiley.
Speed:
Speed is a vehicle property which refers to the speed that your vehicle travels. Vehicles have different top speeds for forward and reverse. Players are required to hold down either W (Default Keybind) for forward or D (Default Keybind) for reverse. Once the vehicle has reached its top speed it will stop accelerating and move at a constant velocity unless the car is turning or the acceleration key is no longer being held down. It is important to note that faster velocities equate to losses in handling.
Vehicle speed is calculated in either KPH (Default) or MPH, either can be changed in setting. The highest top speed is 161 kph (100 mph), which is held by the Fighter Jet. Certain vehicles can exceed it top speed temporarily by boosting which used either Stamina or Electricity.
Stamina:
Stamina is a vehicle property which refers to stamina being used to boost certain vehicles. Certain vehicles can be boosted by using Stamina. This include the Bicycle, Hornet, Cart, Storage Sanbouk, and Racing Boum.
Storage:
Storage is a property which refers to trunk space in vehicles. Most vehicles have an inventory ("trunk space"), which can be accessed in the Player's Inventory G (Default Keybind). But the trunk can only be accessed while in the driver seat. Items can be transferred into and out of both inventories in the same way as any other container. But while accessing the trunk, the vehicle will be idling and burning fuel. When a vehicle is destroyed, its inventory contents drop to the ground.
Tire:
Tires is a property effecting Non-Tracked Cars. Vehicle needs at-least 4 tires to drive properly. If any tire isn't present on the vehicle, then it will effect the handling or prevent the vehicle from driving. Unarmored tires can be easily destroyed with weaponry and traps. The Socketwrench can be used to remove tires from any vehicle. Some vehicles have armored tires which require high caliber weaponry to destroy them. To remove armored tires with a Socketwrench the vehicle must be unlocked. It can also be locked but it must be owned by you or your group. Certain vehicles don't have tires or could be a tracked vehicle. This includes trains, aircraft, motorcycles, bikes, and watercraft. Certain curated maps have tires that cannot be removed at any circumstance.
Tires can be found at Mechanic Locations and bought in Safezones. Tires can be placed by finding the general area of the wheel well then clicking LMB (Default Keybind). To remove a tire the player must go near a tire holding a Socketwrench then clicking LMB (Default Keybind).
For more info, view the Tire.

Obtaining:
The Vehicle Spawn Probability of any single vehicle in the game is the chance that it will spawn after destroying a previous vehicle and restarting the server/waiting for the vehicle respawn timer to expire. It is often measured in percentage but can also be expressed as a fraction. The spawn probability is map-dependent, as some vehicles only spawn on certain maps.
Vehicles is easily found in almost most maps. Military Vehicles can be found at Military Locations like Bases, Checkpoints, Outposts, FOBs, Tunnels, and etc.
Aircraft can be found in most maps. Planes logically will spawn at Airports and Airfields. While amphibious aircraft can spawn on water. Helicopters can be found at airports but also can be found on helipads across the map. Certain amphibious helicopters can spawn on the water.
Trains are usually found along the railroad tracks in maps like Yukon, Russia, Ireland, France, and Rio de Janeiro.
