Rarity

Rarity is a is a game mechanic in Unturned 3. It is an aesthetic value for items, vehicles, and NPCs. The feature has no impact on actual gameplay.

There are six different Rarities something can have in-game:

• Common
• Uncommon
• Rare
• Epic
• Legendary
• Mythical

Outside of in-game, Steam Economy items uses these Rarities.

Some of the Steam Economy Rarities are unnamed, and functionality is primarily for their color.

Trivia:

• Mythical was originally reserved for Steam Economy items with a Mythical.
• This system could have also been implamented to give Mappers an idea of how rare an item should be on any given spawn table.
