The Hydra was a Mythical Helicopter in Unturned 3 in the map Rio de Janeiro. It's a military Helicopter that was invulnerable to low caliber fire, lockable, can carry 4 people, and armed with the Hydra Rocket Turret. If it's main rotor touches anything during flight, it will explode.
Acquirement:
Rio de Janeiro: The Hydra used to spawn in Military Locations and Deadzone Node.
Analysis:
Advantages:
- High Top Speed.
- Able to traverse the map easly.
- Able to use rockets.
- High Explosive Damage.
- Invunerable to small arms fire.
Disadvantages:
- Helicopter Very Rare.
- Rocket Ammo Rare.
- Low Trunk Space.
- Only two available seats.
- Loud Engine able to be heard by both Players and Zombies.
- Many Open Spaces for the player to be shot.
- Only the second passenger can use rockets.
- The helicopter was vulnerable to high caliber fire.
Controls:
Pitch and roll are controlled with the Mouse (Default Keybind). Moving the Mouse (Default Keybind) forward/back will cause the Hydra to pitch (tilt) nose down/nose up respectively. Pitch direction can be inverted in the options. Moving the Mouse (Default Keybind) left/right will cause the Hydra to roll (tilt sideways) left/right respectively. Thwas represents the "cyclic" in a real helicopter.
Yaw was controlled with the strafe/steering buttons (A/D (Default Keybind)). Yaw was a left/right spinning movement about the main rotor mast. Pressing A/D (Default Keybind) will cause the Hydra to spin left/right respectively. Thwas represents the "anti-torque pedals" in a real helicopter.
Altitude/Throttle was controlled with the forward/reverse buttons (W/S (Default Keybind)). Pressing W(Default Keybind) will cause the Hydra to go up. When taking off from the ground there was a delay before liftoff while the engine throttles up. Pressing S (Default Keybind) will throttle the engine down, but does not appear to accelerate downward motion. Thwas represents both the "collective" and "throttle" in a real helicopter.

Trivia:
- The name Hydra comes from the United States Manufactured Unguided Military Grade Rocket named the Hydra 70.
- The Hydra is based off of the Little Bird Helicopter.
- The Hydra was apparently controlled by a yoke (airplane steering wheel). Most helicopters are controlled with joystick and lever controls known as a cyclic and collective respectively.
- When the player yaws the Hydra (spinning left/right) their character was seen to be turning the yolk. In a real helicopter yawing was performed with pedals.
- The Hydra reaches its top cruising speed at or near a 45° nose down attitude. Real helicopters stay relatively level at any given speed (though they may temporarily adopt extreme nose down attitudes in order to accelerate quickly).
