An alien red and white cat, Nyan came to share "happy energy" between Earth and his home planet of Felis. He was adopted by a human family and made friends with the local cats. Transformation
Ultra Nyan transforms by the power from his Tail Ring. He jumps through the ring, then appears out on the other side in his "giant" form.
Techniques
- Mankiumu Beam : Nyan's Spacium style beam ability. Fired from the beckoning cat pose.
- Telekinesis: By waving his tail and activating his ring, Nyan can levitate objects and hurl them at enemies.
- Matter Transmutation: Nyan can transform objects into something else like a piece of wire into a rose, rubble from a wrecked building into doves, or a car into a giant whale. He can also do this via his Mankiumu Beam.
- Flight: Like all Ultras, Ultra Nyan can fly.
- Telepathy: In the first short, Nyan entered Haruka's dreams and communicated with her, telling her where he came from and about his mission.
- Happy Energy Transfer: Together with all the cats in the city, Nyan can share "happy energy" from Earth with his home planet via a pink beam from his paw.
- Star Platform: From the star on his tail, Ultra Nyan created a star-shaped platform made of energy to catch his falling friends.

- Unlike other Ultraman Series, Nyan does not fight monsters or aliens of any sort, instead his foes are more domestic and native to Earth.
- Shigekatsu Ihara, the author of the Ultraman Blazar manga, drew Ultra Nyan with elements from Blazar's design to celebrate the start of 2024.[1]
